Board Secretary
Neta began her career as a civil rights attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, before moving into legal education, where she spent nearly a decade leading the public interest career program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. Most recently, she served as Senior Counsel to Governor Katie Hobbs. She received her J.D. from UC Davis School of Law and her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College. Neta's family's own immigration experiences fuel her strong desire to promote immigrant justice and civil rights, and she is thrilled to be working with PLAN to advance its vision for a more just and inclusive Arizona.
What does reimagining immigrant justice mean to you?
To me, reimagining justice means taking a community-centered and client-centered approach to tackling the systemic barriers that immigrants face. It means thinking creatively and collectively about solutions that will increase access to opportunities for all members of our society. And it means always leading with kindness, inclusivity, and humility as we engage with the world.
